Training Calendar

This course is for beginning users of the Office Suite.

The course consists of:

Identify the Powerpoint icon and access the programme
Open an existing file from the File: Open command or file list at the the end of the menu  or create a new file
From a given outline devise a simple slide show and change the format as preferred
You should be able to move around the slides in a presentation and then review the revised presentation

• Save  your presentation under a suitable.name
• You should be able to print your presentation.
• Know how to create a graph
• create, save and print accompanying handouts to your presentation
• Create, save and print speaker’s notes for your own use during the presentation.
• Know how to add headers/footers
• Apply the transition and build features to one or more slides.
• Know  how to insert tables, Clipart or a file from another programme into a Powerpoint presentation
• Know how to use the Slide Master
• Know how to create , move, arrange and group graphics.
• Use the Custom Show feature
