• Warranty repair work may require a "Proof of Purchase”.
• If equipment is under warranty, there will be no cost for repair if a hardware problem is found & parts are replaced.
• Software problems are NOT covered by warranty. These include PRAM & NVRAM resets, archive/OS reinstalls, & Apple program reinstalls.
• If your system is under warranty & nothing is found to be wrong with the system, a diagnostic charge will be applied to the repair.
• If the problem persists & we re-diagnose the system within a 30 days period & a warranty issue is discovered, a full refund will be issued for the labour charges or applied to non-warranty labour.
• Persistent problems MUST be brought to our attention within 30 days of our initial diagnosis.

Software / data is the responsibility of the customer. Apple’s warranty or AppleCare does not cover software installation, data backup, & restoration. Should software/data need to be reinstalled, backed-up, or restored, Screenway will do so at our normal labour rates.

AppleCare Protection Plan for your iPod.

When you buy your iPod it comes with 1 year standard warranty. While it is still under warranty you can upgrade the warranty by 2 further years by purchasing.

The AppleCare Protection Plan gives you the peace of mind of knowing that Apple provides global repair or replacement coverage.

Service coverage is available only for the iPod and its original included accessories that are defective in materials or workmanship or for battery depletion of 50 percent or more from original specification. Equipment returned for service may be repaired or replaced with functionally equivalent new, used, or refurbished equipment.

For iPods that are out of warranty period Screenway charges a non refundable €30 diagnostic fee payable when you drop your iPod in for repair.

We will check out your iPod and call you with repair cost, if you decide to go ahead with the repair we will deduct the €30 diagnostic charge from your total bill.

All repairs are carried out within 10 days and the repair has a 3 month warranty.

If you decide not to proceed with the repair we can dispose of your iPod in an environmentally friendly manner.
